Here is the Additional Information Tina wanted posted on the website.  Please review it and discuss it as well as possible alternatives on the website.  Everyone in the residence Halls should view this information, as it is very important for anyone who plans on living in a residence hall next year.

Quick Note from the Co-Chairs!

E-mail Print PDF

Hey there everyone! So some things Rexann and myself wanted to throw out there are...

1) If you ever have any questions about RHA stuff feel free to contact one of us! Also if you have any feedback about how RHA is going or something that happened, let us know!

2) If you are wanting to put on a program, go for it! You can work through your committee or work by yourself. Don't be scared to put on programs!

3) Be on time to meetings. So far it's been pretty decent but from the words of Kristi Schulte "5 minutes early is 5 minutes late!" We are trying to make sure meetings don't go too ridiculously long and that requires help from everyone. If you're early we can start right on time and end it that much sooner! Not to mention it is quite the distraction to be walking in during the middle of someone talking.

4) Don't be afraid to talk during a meeting! We want to make good decisions when it comes to using our residents money. So if there is something wrong about something and you don't speak up, something might go through that shouldn't have because we didn't have your view of things.

5) If you are going to say something that someone else has already said, say whatever new information you have to bring up and then say "yield to redundancy" and you can throw in who said it so that people know what you are trying to say.

Those are just some of the things that we were wanting to say real quick and we'll keep this updated more often. Thanks for your hard work so far!
